Whole Leaders Coaching

Being a leader in an entity committed to social change is a complex, challenging job—and one not broadly understood. I’ve been there myself, and now I’m with leaders every day as a coach and consultant. What I so appreciate about coaching is that it centers on one of the leader’s most critical roles: the ability to shift narrative, beginning with one’s own. It’s life work, soul work, world-change work.

What I bring to it: eight years experience coaching leaders in organizations, networks, movements and philanthropies on five continents; professional certification as an Integral Coach from New Ventures West; expertise in accelerated learning; twenty years hands-on in all facets of organizational development; deep engagement in human liberation learning communities; and thousands of hours of being coached and coaching others as a professional musician.

Authentic change can be elusive. What great coaches do is support us to unfold bit by bit into the possibilities, and that turns out to be both transformational and practical. It’s the lineage I’m in as a coach, and I’m pleased to offer this service to leaders.

Coaching centers on the development of people—beginning with self. Reflection, resources, and supportive feedback combine to assist leaders in deepening purpose, taking more generative action, and effectively providing for the development of others.
